Florence Himelfarb, AuD, CCC-A

Florence is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She received her bachelor’s in sociology from Yeshiva University, her master’s in audiology at City University of New York, and her doctorate in audiology from Salus University. As a pediatric audiologist at Children’s Hospital of New York, she specialized in comprehensive pediatric evaluations, including complete pediatric audiologic evaluations, selection, fitting and consultation of assistive listening devices, providing evaluations for cochlear implant candidates, NRT, mapping and follow up, and auditory processing evaluations. She also served as Director of Audiology at John Tracy Clinic until 2012, before moving to northern California to develop her private practice. Dr. Himelfarb teaches the two audiology courses in the Distance Learning Program.
