Margaret Winter, MS, CCC-A
Margaret is an associate professor of clinical otolaryngology at the USC-CHLA Center for Childhood Communication. She is a frequent presenter on cochlear implants in children, speaking to parents and professionals at local and international seminars in several cities. She has also published and presented extensively on infant hearing assessment, hearing aid fitting and auditory neuropathy in children. She is currently part of the research team conducting FDA clinical trials with the auditory brainstem implant in young children through USC, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Huntington Research Institutes. Her university teaching experience includes principles and practices of audiology and aural rehabilitation with a focus on children. Margaret teaches the two audiology courses in the Onsite Program.
