Program:

The hybrid Master’s and Education Specialist Program in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) at Mount Saint Mary's University is founded on five principles: Passion, Excellence, Advocacy, Respect, and Leadership (PEARL). These foundational principles make for a career choice that is IMPACTFUL. Our grads have become published authors, state coordinators, program directors, and teacher-leaders in the field.

The program focuses on the use of state-of-the-art hearing technology that allows children who are deaf or hard of hearing to develop listening and spoken language. Principles in family-centered support and interdisciplinary practice are emphasized throughout the program.
