Courses are simple and self-paced. Parents choose what to read, how to apply ideas and when to contact JTC. Brief videos, charts, reviews and examples expand on information. Courses are designed for parents of children with hearing loss age five and under using any language, communication approach or listening device.  Parents have the option to send question or concerns to receive individualized replies.

A suggested approach is for the ideas in each module and lesson to be used for several weeks to support ongoing meaningful and fun interactions between parent and child. Then another module or lesson can be used for the next few weeks. Implementing these ideas throughout daily routines over a several month period is an opportunity to encourage a child’s listening, language and speech development.
