California Lutheran University and John Tracy Center are proud to announce a formal partnership to deliver CLU’s Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Education Specialist Credential and Master of Science program, beginning with the Summer 2026 cohort.

This collaboration brings together two institutions with deep roots, shared values, and an unwavering belief that children who are deaf and hard of hearing deserve the most exceptionally prepared educators in the field.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:

As a candidate in the CLU/JTC program, you will enter an interdisciplinary training environment unlike any other in California:

  • CTC-accredited curriculum aligned with California's DHH Teaching Performance Expectations
  • Small cohorts, close mentorship from practitioners actively shaping the field of DHH education
  • Immersive access to JTC's network of audiologists, LSL specialists, SLPs, DHH educators, and families

CLU’s active OSEP personnel preparation grant helps qualifying candidates offset tuition costs - making this path accessible for working educators.
